58 mm carbon wheelset available from June 2014, introducing the Firestrike profile derived from the Firecrest patent and claimed to cut side force by 34%. It was the first Zipp wheel to use the moulded, silicon-carbide-loaded Showstopper brake track, paired with 88/188 v10 hubs on ceramic bearings and a virtual three-cross lacing in Sapim CX-Ray spokes. Zipp quotes 1,620 g per pair on a rim 17.25 mm wide internally and 27.8 mm at its widest. It preceded the 404 NSW, which took over in 2016.
