Mahle

German automotive giant founded in 1920 in Stuttgart, MAHLE entered cycling by acquiring Spanish startup Ebikemotion in 2018. Its SmartBike Systems division, based in Palencia (Spain), popularised the light, near-invisible rear hub motor with the X35, the reference for light e-road and gravel bikes (Orbea Gain, Scott Addict eRIDE…), followed by the X20, a complete ~3.2 kg system.
