Pendix
Pendix is a German manufacturer of electric bicycle drive systems, founded in 2013 in Zwickau, Saxony, with production at nearby Wilkau-Haßlau. Its eDrive is a retrofit kit that replaces the bottom bracket with a mid-mounted motor and adds a removable battery on the seat tube, allowing an existing bicycle to be converted into a pedelec. Since 2024 the company has also offered the gDrive, a mid-motor with an integrated gearbox intended as original equipment for cargo bikes and other electric bicycles, announced with up to 85 Nm of torque.
