Tektro
Tektro Technology Corporation is a Taiwanese brake manufacturer founded in 1986 at Changhua by Gary Chen, Leo Chen and Aver Tsai, and initially producing cantilever rim brakes. It has become one of the main original-equipment suppliers of braking systems to bicycle makers, with a catalogue covering rim brakes, mechanical and hydraulic disc brakes, levers and rotors; its first hydraulic disc brake appeared in 1999. In 2006 the company created TRP (Tektro Racing Products) as its high-end brand, which has since extended to mountain-bike drivetrain components.
