The 180 sits at the top of the DT Swiss hub range, above the 240 and 350. This entry documents the current Ratchet EXP generation, in which the inner ratchet is fixed to the hub shell and the drive-side bearing is integrated into the threaded ring, and which comes with SINC ceramic bearings; DT Swiss states that Ratchet EXP is fitted to its 180 and 240 hubs, the ceramic-bearing freehub body being reserved for the 180. The figures below refer to the road rear hub in 12x142 mm thru-axle, Center Lock mounting, straight-pull lacing, with a Shimano 11-speed road freehub body. Earlier generations of the 180 used the classic Star Ratchet and, on some versions, a carbon hub shell.
