MA2

The MA2 is a classic Mavic aluminium clincher road rim, introduced in the mid-1980s and the direct predecessor of the MA40. It has a shallow box section roughly 20 mm wide and 13.8 mm deep, a pinned joint and two-piece stainless steel double eyelets at every spoke hole. It was offered in 32, 36 and 40 hole drillings in a polished finish, and remains a reference rim for period-correct vintage road wheel builds.
