Brand: Pinion

The nine-speed version of the Pinion gearbox mounted at the bottom bracket. Nine evenly spaced gears for a 568 % range, in the same compact magnesium casing as the C1.12 but with slightly larger steps (24.3 %). Same philosophy: mass centred and low, shifting possible at a standstill, no exposed derailleur, oil-bath lubrication and long service intervals. Maximum input torque 250 Nm, compatible with chain as well as belt. Note: a bottom-bracket gearbox filed here for want of a dedicated type, this is not a geared hub.
