The 570 is a single-pivot side-pull rim brake caliper made in Switzerland by Weinmann AG and widely fitted to European road bikes of the 1980s, including Peugeot and Raleigh models. It uses aluminium-alloy arms and a standard-reach body with a maximum reach of 52 mm, mounted through the brake bridge and the fork crown by a central bolt. Weinmann sold it in several finishes, the 570 Top being the top-end version of the model.
